In August of 2019 the LEAP of Faith program began at the Eldon Church of the
Nazarene Family Life Center at 1024 Lawson Ave, Eldon MO.
This faith-based after school program serves children from pre-kindergarten
age through 6th grade. It is an extension of the The Eldon Public Schools LEAP
after school program. The LEAP of Faith Program meets each Wednesday
afternoon from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm.
The number of registered students has grown each year. Currently in the
2023-2024 school year, we have 128 registered students and 35 voluteers in
the program. Current Bible Quiz is studying The Gospel of Matthew.
In the 2022-2023 assembly year we had 28 students participate in the District
Area Bible Quiz and we had 10 students that went to the World Quiz in
Indianapolis. Our students did very well at the World Quiz Competition. They
received 1 gold and 1 silver in the Red Level and 1 gold in the Blue Level. After
the World Quiz the students were treated to a trip to the Ark Encounter in
Kentucky.
We are hoping that families will help their children to prepare and participate
in these Bible Quiz Competitions.

in the 2022-2023 school year, there are 103 enrollees in the LEAP
of Faith program along with 25 wonderful volunteers
Bible believing Christians from all denominations who pass a
background check and are willing to serve from 2:00 to 6:00 in
the afternoon on Wednesdays during the school year are welcome
to contact the office (573) 392-3440 or come by the church to
join our volunteer staff.
In past years, the study was the books of EXODUS, JOSHUA,
JUDGES, RUTH and Genesis. After reviewing the material from
these books, the students will move on to learn about King Saul
and King David in First and Second Samuel.
The LEAP of Faith families who choose to do so, are also
encouraged to participate in the Children's Bible Quiz
Competitions. Study will begin in September with competitions
beginning with one competition in March and another in April;
culminating in the International Bible Quiz Competition held in
Indianapolis in June of 2023.
We are hoping that most families will help their children to
prepare for and participate in these Bible Quiz Competitions.
